Well, last week I wrote a plot for a zombie comic (see previous posts for sketches and stuff), it was supposed to be something dramatic, not a comedy, and having a more realistic look (see here). But NOW (literally) I’m listening to a podcast and they’ve reviewed a webcomic that have exactly the same plot of what I wrote, I mean, it is identical, and I haven’t ever heard of it before.
Take aim and toss the paper ball into the bin.
One of my favorite comic is “Calvin and Hobbes” and I know I’m not alone. C&H is the perfect example about how to make a comic: cute characters, witty writing… plus, C&H succeeded in a difficult market: all-ages comics. Ok, that strip is more mature than it looks, and it is supposed to appeal to >25 years old people probably, but I challenge you to find someone who haven’t loved it, kids included.
So what I’m doing now is trying my twist on all-ages comic, in a modern way. Here’s a char design I made.

For several reasons:
Italy is boiling, literally, I saw my shoes melting on the ground! But I’m still generous so here’s another sketch, I just discovered that I prefer drawing more realistic chars (like in the 90% of the Italian comics, is it genetic you think?)

I want to involve you in my next project, or at least, I want to hear your opinion (yeah, well, it means that maybe I’ll do the opposite of what you will suggest :P).
So, below the calendar, there’s a new poll, vote your favourite style. And, again, this is not about IT Disasters.

Lots of people thought the new stuff (zombies, sci-fi, new characters, etc.) is related to IT Disasters, just to clarify, NO it’s not.
It’s a whole different stuff ![]()
